About these terms
This website is run by Amrita - Industry Initiatives, an initiative by Amrita School of Computing, Amritapuri (Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham) and MeitY, Government of India ("we", "us"). By signing in, registering for an event or otherwise using the website, you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice, which explains how we handle your information. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
An event's page or registration form may state further conditions for that event (for example eligibility, fees or attendance rules). Those conditions apply in addition to these terms; where they differ, the event's own conditions apply to that event.
Your account
- You sign in with your own Google account. Your account here is linked to that Google email address.
- Keep access to your Google account secure, and do not let anyone else register using it. You are responsible for registrations made from your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your Dashboard; this deletes all your registrations. While you are confirmed for an event that is running, that registration and your account are kept until two weeks after the event's last day and are then deleted.
Registering for an event
- Give true and complete information. Register only for yourself, with your own details, roll number and documents. We may cancel registrations that contain false or misleading information.
- Eligibility. Some events or attendance options are open only to certain participants, for example particular campuses, programmes, years or invited people. Registering does not override these rules.
- One registration per person per event. Each account can register once for an event, and a roll number can belong to one account only.
- A registration is not a confirmed place until its status says Confirmed. Depending on the event, a registration may first be Pending (for example while a payment or approval is checked) or Waitlisted when seats are full. You can see the current status in your Dashboard.
- Waitlist. When a seat becomes free, the earliest waitlisted registration for that option may be moved up automatically. We do not guarantee that a waitlisted registration will get a seat, and we may not send a separate message when the status changes.
- Approval. The organisers may approve or reject registrations, for example if eligibility or payment cannot be confirmed. A rejected registration cannot be edited, but you can delete it.
- Changes and cancellation by you. You can change your registration while registration is open, and delete it at any time. Deleting releases your seat to others.
Fees and payment
- Some events charge a fee. The amount shown on the form depends on your participant category and, for some events, on how you attend. Pay only through the method shown on the form.
- Enter a correct payment reference and upload a clear screenshot of the payment where asked. Registrations with a fee stay Pending until the organisers have checked the payment.
- Refunds, if any, follow the conditions stated for that event or by its coordinator. If an event is cancelled by us, contact the event coordinator about any fee you paid.
Changes to events
We try to run every event as described, but we may need to change the dates, venue, schedule, speakers, mode (online or in person), number of seats or other details, or to cancel an event. We will try to tell registered participants about important changes in good time, using the contact details you gave.
Taking part
- Follow the instructions of the organisers and the rules of the venue or online platform, including Amrita campus rules when attending in person.
- Treat other participants, speakers and staff with respect. Harassment, discrimination or disruptive behaviour is not accepted, and the organisers may remove anyone from an event because of it.
- Bring an identity document if the event asks for one; the organisers may check it against your registration.
- Certificates, where offered, are issued according to the event's requirements (for example attendance or completing assignments) and use the name you provided.
- Accommodation, where offered, is subject to availability and to the rules of the hostel or guest house.
Using the website
- Do not try to access other people's registrations or accounts, the organisers' dashboard, or any part of the website you are not meant to use.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you do not have the right to share, and do not use the website to send spam or automated registrations.
- Do not try to disrupt, overload or test the security of the website without our written permission.
- We may suspend or delete accounts or registrations that break these terms.
Content
The website's text, design and logos belong to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham or are used with permission. Event materials remain the property of their owners and may be used only as the organisers allow. You keep the rights to the information and files you submit, and allow us to use them to run the event as described in the privacy notice.
Availability and responsibility
- We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted. Registration may close early, for example when an event is full or cancelled.
- Seat counts, days left and other details on the website are for information and may change.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by the website being unavailable, by errors in it, or by changes to or cancellation of an event, beyond returning any fee as described above for that event.
- Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms in force when you register apply to that registration.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
